Dr. Alvin C. Reyes, Vice President for Administration and Finance of Zamboanga State College of Marine Sciences and Technology (ZSCMST) and MASTS Executive Director, and Dr. Nelson Cabral, University President of Zamboanga Peninsula Polytechnic State University (ZPPSU) and MASTS President, recently visited Senator and Secretary Juan Edgardo “Sonny” M. Angara, of the Department of Education, and Congressman Marquez “Mark” O. Go, Chairman of the House Committee on Higher and Technical Education, to extend an invitation to the upcoming Mindanao Association of State Tertiary Schools (MASTS) Sports and Socio-Cultural Festival.
The event, scheduled to be held in Pagadian City, will celebrate the rich culture and athleticism of the Mindanao region. It will feature various sporting events and cultural performances, showcasing the talents and skills of students, faculty, and staff from various state tertiary institutions in Mindanao.
During their visit, the MASTS officials thanked Secretary Angara and Congressman Go for their continued support of ZSCMST and other state universities and colleges (SUCs).
